Consultancy Services

Cross Cultural Training and Language Training

Living and working in a foreign country can be daunting and research has shown that the inability to adapt to the host culture is amongst the most cited reasons for relocation failure.
Although you may share the same workspace, you don’t always share the same language or attitudes to work.

In an effort to aid understanding and accelerate success, through established partnerships with leading consultants we are able to offer high-quality bespoke, Foreign and EFL language training, Cross-Cultural Awareness training and Country briefings and International presentation and International negotiation skills workshops.
The training can be delivered throughout the UK and increasingly internationally, often on multi-site programmes.

These programmes are designed to equip people with the cross cultural tools that will help them settle into their new lives abroad.

Airport Transfers

We can organise a professional chauffeur service to and from all major UK airports for employees and their families.
To ensure your transfer goes as smoothly as possible we use air conditioned vehicle tailored to the number of passengers and the luggage requirements specified by you with an experienced driver with proven customer service skills and an extensive knowledge of the local area.

A ‘Meet and Greet’ service can be arranged whereby the driver will be in arrivals with the passenger’s name or company name this is especially helpful for first time visitors in a foreign country.
The flight can be tracked so if early or delayed the driver can be expected at the new time of arrival

Driving License Application

Exchanging your driving permit from abroad for a UK driving license can be quite confusing. It all depends on where your license was issued, and if it was issued in a “designated” country. Most of these licenses can be exchanged after 12 months for a British license. If it was not issued in an designated country then you will need to take a theory and driving test. We offer you an introduction to getting a UK driving license and guide you through the process of exchanging your original license. We can also help put you in touch with a local driving school if lessons are required.


Furniture Rental

Rental furniture provides a solution for employees renting an unfurnished property and need, either long term rental or interim furniture whilst waiting for a household shipment to arrive.

This service ensures that you can move straight into your new home and be comfortable from the start. You can choose from over 300 furniture lines to have a fully furnished home to suit your budget, or build your own by selecting the items of furniture you prefer.
Furniture, housewares , electrical goods, white goods, televisions, lighting and anything else you may require will be installed professionally into your home and will be ready for your arrival. The beds are made, towels laid out, pots, pans and cutlery all put away in the correct places, giving a “home from home” feeling.

Furniture can be rented from one month up to 3 years and an entire home can be furnished at short notice. There is a one off delivery and collection fee and then payments are spread monthly for easy budgeting.

Bank Account Setup

TTHCurzon can provide assistance setting up bank accounts for relocating employees and their families prior to securing a UK address.
A convenient appointment is made with a local branch to either your place of work or temporary accommodation and within an hour you will walk out with an account number, IBAN, Swift and telephone banking set up.

The bank account setup is available in 3 currencies – sterling, euro, US dollar; all come with individual debit cards.
Sterling is a fully operational UK bank account with bank cards and bill management set up.
Euro and dollar debit transactions are fee free in the same currency countries.

Visas and Shipping

TTHCurzon has long standing partnerships with immigration specialists and professional removal and storage companies.

  • Visas: TTHCurzon arrange visas and work permits for employees, their families and domestic staff relocating to the UK. We will work with our immigration partner and manage the process in house providing one point of contact for the client.

  • Shipping: TTHCurzon work with a fully accredited panel of UK & International van lines, storage providers and household goods shipping companies. We will setup and co-ordinate shipping supplier according to each client’s needs.

TTHCurzon will source and secure serviced accommodation for clients in London & UK “Free of Charge” and at “Preferential Executive Rates”

Serviced apartments are an excellent alternative to a hotel room and are much more cost effective.

Relocation Expense Management

Expense Management is typically regarded as a core requirement for all company supported moves, due to the very specific UK tax implications. Accurate reporting of relocation costs to HMRC is of critical importance to all organisations that provide relocation/assignment support.

Our Expense Management system records all costs relating to the move and tracks against any specific policy budgetary limits.  It accurately allocates the appropriate tax treatment to each cost, based on HMRC requirements, making clear whether it is allowable, non-reportable or taxable.  At the end of the UK tax year we provide a detailed report for each move to our clients to enable accurate reporting for P11D/PSA purposes
